Appraisal software for UAD 3.6. KLAS Desk takes an assignment from the order to the finished report, and shows its work along the way.

What it does
Every assignment follows the same path. KLAS Desk walks it with you, one step at a time.
The order
Drop in the engagement letter. KLAS Desk pulls out the assignment details and suggests the right form.
The research
Property details, public records and parish data, collected in one place instead of ten browser tabs.
The analysis
Select comparables, work the cost approach, and build adjustments you can explain line by line.
The workfile
Sources, notes and support are filed while you work. The workfile is done when the report is.
The check
The report is checked against the UAD 3.6 rules before it leaves your desk, not after it comes back.
The delivery
A clean, complete report, ready to deliver. Order in. Value out.
Why KLAS Desk
Most appraisal software fills in forms. KLAS Desk helps you understand them, support them and defend them.
Every adjustment is tied to the evidence behind it. When a reconsideration of value or a review comes in, one click builds the support pack.
Every UAD 3.6 field shows the rule behind it and what underwriters look for. You learn the standard while you work.
Experience logs, review and sign-off are part of the workflow. Trainees learn. Supervisors see what they are signing.
Your workfiles, your comps and your notes belong to you. KLAS Desk is built to keep it that way.
No need to start over. Keep your form software and let KLAS Desk handle the work around it, or move everything into one place when you are ready.
Plans
Keep the form software you know, or bring everything onto one desk.
Plan one
Keep your current form software. KLAS Desk does everything before and behind the form, then sends it in.
For appraisers who like their form software and want everything around it done right.
Plan two
The all-in-one. Research, report and export, in one place.
For appraisers ready to run the whole assignment from one desk.

Louisiana Edition
Louisiana is not like anywhere else, and neither are its appraisals. KLAS Desk starts here, where it was built.
More states, one at a time.
Flood zone and elevation sit front and center on every assignment, not buried in an addendum.
Data organized the way Louisiana is organized: by parish.
Successions, usufructs and the other terms of Louisiana civil law are part of the vocabulary, not an afterthought.
Built to work with the MLS data Louisiana appraisers use every day.
About
KLAS Desk is built by Kasie LaFleur, a Louisiana appraiser in Lafayette. Her first career was teaching. She is trained in UAD 3.6, and she built KLAS Desk for the way appraisers actually work.
Appraisal software fills in forms. It never explains them. So she built one that does.
“I was a teacher before I was an appraiser. I wanted software that teaches the rule, not just fills the box.”Kasie LaFleur, founder
